Point Burger Bar to open Thursday  Dec 1

CITY OF PEWAUKEE — Point Burger Bar will officially open at the site of the former American TV & Appliance on Thursday.

The 16,000-square-foot restaurant continues to put the finishing touches on its second location, with the other located on Good Hope Road in Milwaukee. The restaurant, W229-N1400 Westwood Drive, has an extensive bar area with 30 taps, appetizers, shakes and entrees. But it’s mostly known for its “Las Vegas style” burger. The prime-beef burgers come with a build-your-own option, featuring eight types of meat, eight different breads, nine cheeses and nearly 50 additional toppings. Point Burger Bar also features an arcade with 50 games and a prize area, as well as an outdoor patio and an indoor patio overlooking the racetrack at neighboring Veloce Indoor Speedway.

As of now, the full kitchen will open at 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday while orders for pizza and the bar will stay open until 2 a.m. The full kitchen will remain open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and will close at 10 p.m. on Sundays.

It had a soft opening for families and friends Tuesday and will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 5 p.m. featuring state Sen. Chris Kapenga.
